The easiest way to find & identify where you should apply your blush is to actually suck in your cheeks. You should be able to locate what looks like a natural hollowing. The hollow area is where you will apply a deeper color such as a deeper foundation color, light brown or an actual bronzer. You will want to use a brush or a sponge, make a shape that resembles a half moon up to you temple.
Now it is time to smile! Voila…You should be able to recognize what is referred to as the apple of your cheek. This area is where you want to achieve a natural glow as if you were only slightly Blushing. Blend a lighter color on the apple of your cheek while blending it into the darker color you used in your hollow. Blending is key to a finished professional cosmetic look.

You can also apply a light dusting of your blush to your nose, forehead and chin. If you choose to use blush in these areas, be very careful to only use a slight amount of color. You will notice some women can appear “Clown Like” when they over use their blush.
