When I had my children, I was told to put Cocoa Butter on my stomach daily to insure that I would not get stretch marks. Yes! Its true. The Cocoa Butter felt great and I am certain it helped somewhat although after doing just a bit of research, I found out that no women in the past two generations on both sides of my family had ever had a stretch mark. In the end, I probably would not have had them even with the Cocoa Butter. I would still recommend Cocoa Butter as it is a much less expensive solution for prevention and treatment. You may want to consider Olive Oil in addition to a cream that would include Vitamin A & C. Both are known to assist in reducing the ruddiness of stretch marks. Never discard diet and exercise when looking to ward off stretch marks.
